Virgina Dance Leadership Conference

This is a two track event for organizers and callers from our region to come together and collaborate. Saturday sessions will focus the group's energy on constructive ways to build the dance community in our area. Saturday night we'll all dance together at the Blacksburg contra dance.

Organizer track - will be led by Chrissy Fowler.
Chrissy started and runs a highly successful contra dance in Belfast, ME and has had experience working with other dances. She's organized workshops for callers and musicians and is looking forward to working with our group of dance organizers. Limited to 22 participants.

Caller track - will be led by Bob Dalsemer.

For many years Bob has been a top notch caller, musician, and dance organizer. He is also a distinguished teacher of callers. New callers will work together and call the Saturday night dance. Limited to 10 participants.

Hosting is available for out of town participants.

Registration fee of $45 includes Friday night social, 4 Saturday workshops, Saturday night contra dance admission, meals on Saturday, Sunday morning brunch and followup session.
